School of Peace program has been followed by 15 participants from countries in Asia. (In this year) Indonesia became a big number of participants in this program that there are six people. Moreover, there are three participants from Philippines, two from China, one from Vietnam, one from East Timor, and two participants from Cambodia. All the participants will follow the program during the next two months to discuss the two modules that have been developed previously.

This Morning, at 08.00 am, after breakfast the participants gathered in the classroom. Max and Small were looked very excited and so were the other participants. To make the classroom more passionate, the introduction session is done by giving the opportunity to the participants to look for objects that may present themselves. Lidya form Papua, Indonesia, chose a flower.  The flowers were looked beautiful because it collected into one from number of stalks. She said to achieve our goals that it is easy by working together, will be more beautiful incorporated in a group. Yoland, a girl from China chose dust as a representation of  herself. She said we are nothing like a dust, but earth made up by dust, firm the ground and plant the tress. Every life in the earth has their mission, eventhough we thiny, but we can make big impact to society. So, from the introduction session, the participants get to know each other.

Then Max provides (provided) an introduction to the Coordinator of the Interfaith Forum that has been setted up on 2003 in Medan after the event on 9/11 in America. In 2004, the organization held two workshops and the SOP program has been started in 2006 and he is continuing until now.

Another interesting thing from this program is all participants are involved in their respective duties. The division of tasks made participants not only learn theoretically corresponding module compiled but also learn responsibility and organization. Each of the participants has had experience in the organization, but the experience to understand each other from different countries may be the first experience on this occasion. So they should really be able to adapt and establish good communication between them.
